Description:

Eddie Tudor, the famous (and infamously spoiled) child star of Teen Spy, is making everyone's life difficult on set. Little does Eddie know, this demanding behavior is about to get him fired. The two boys switch clothes, and lives, for the afternoon. But when the production suddenly moves to Miami, the boys are stuck in their assumed identities. Garfield Gets Real is a computer-generated animated movie starring Garfield the Cat, produced by Paws, Inc. in cooperation with Wonderworld Studios and distributed by Twentieth Century Fox. It was written by Garfield's creator Jim Davis, who started working on the script in the fall of 2005. This was the first fully animated Garfield film since the last Garfield and Friends TV episode aired in 1994, and the first to be written by Davis since the 1991 television special Garfield Gets a Life. The DVD was released in stores November 20, 2007. A short preview was on the Garfield and Friends: Behind the Scenes, Garfield and Friends: An Ode to Odie, and Garfield and Friends: Dreams & Schemes DVD.

Usually it's the partying teens breaking out the Ouija Board that starts all the trouble in a horror flick. In the case of Bloodmask: The Possession of Nicole Lameroux, they take to the Ouija Board about an hour in hoping to get some answers as to what in the hell was going on. I was curious myself for I, too, had little clue what the hell I'd been watching for the past hour. I don't know if it was because the plot was a truly convoluted mess or if because I was missing key pieces of dialogue while having to constantly fiddle with the audio, but Houston, we most definitely had a problem.

One thing is damn certain: this movie boasts one of the worst audio jobs I've ever heard. I don't know if it was the filmmaker's fault or that of the company that did the DVD authoring, but one moment everyone would sound like they were whispering, so I'd have to crank the audio up. No sooner would I do so, someone would scream or some loud music or sound effect would play, blasting at near maximum level, forcing me to scramble to turn it back down. I was constantly going up and down with the audio, missing out on entire pieces of dialogue all in trying to keep from blowing out the speakers on my television set. So not only did this movie suck, just trying to watch it was a complete pain in the ass.

Description:

A long time ago, far away on the planet of Cybertron, a war was being waged between the noble Autobots (led by the wise Optimus Prime) and the devious Decepticons (commanded by the dreaded Megatron) for control over the Allspark, a mystical talisman that would grant unlimited power to whoever possessed it. The Autobots managed to smuggle the Allspark off the planet, but Megatron blasted off in search of it. He eventually tracked it to the planet of Earth (circa 1850), but his reckless desire for power sent him right into the Arctic Ocean, and the sheer cold forced him into a paralyzed state. His body was later found by Captain Archibald Witwicky, and before going into a comatose state Megatron used the last of his energy to engrave a map, showing the location of the Allspark, into the Captain's glasses, and send a transmission to Cybertron. He is then carted away by the Captain's ship. A century later, Sam Witwicky, nicknamed Spike by his friends, buys his first car. To his shock, he discovers it to be Bumblebee, an Autobot in disguise who is to protect Spike, as he bears the Captain's glasses and the map carved on them. But Bumblebee is not the only Transformer to have arrived on Earth - in the desert of Qatar, the Decepticons Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. military base, causing the Pentagon to send their special Sector Seven agents to capture all "specimens of this alien race," and Spike and his girlfriend Mikaela find themselves in the middle of a grand battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, stretching from Hoover Dam all the way to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, within the depths of Hoover Dam, the cryogenically stored form of Megatron awakens.

Seriously, Hong Kong movie makers, is it so hard to ask for a DVD of your movies with English? Pretty please? In any case, the latest Johnnie To movie to surface is “Mad Detective”, which according to the guys at 24 Frames per Second is barely getting any advertising, even though the film is scheduled to open in two weeks time against the American vampire movie “30 Days of Night” and Danny Pang’s “In Love with the Dead” on November 29th, 2007. Fortunately we have the poster and trailer for the film.

Movies: El Laberinto del fauno 2006 DVDRip

Description:

The movie opens with a fairy tale. Princess Moanna of the Underground Realm, curious about the world above, escapes to the Earth, where she succumbs to pain, sickness and sadness, and eventually dies. The king believes that her spirit will come back to the underworld someday.

The story then cuts to post-Civil War Spain in 1944, with Francisco Franco firmly in power. Ofelia (Ivana Baquero), a young girl who loves fairy tales, travels with her pregnant mother Carmen (Ariadna Gil) to meet Captain Vidal (Sergi López i Ayats), her new stepfather and father of Carmen's unborn child. Vidal, the son of a famed commander who died in combat in Morocco, believes strongly in falangism and was assigned to root out any anti-fascist rebels.

Ofelia discovers a large insect resembling a praying mantis which she believes to be a fairy. It follows her to the mill where Vidal is stationed and leads Ofelia into an ancient labyrinth nearby. Before Ofelia can enter, she is stopped by Vidal's housekeeper, Mercedes (Maribel Verdú), who is spying and stealing supplies for the rebels. That night, the insect appears in Ofelia's bedroom where it changes into a fairy and leads her through the labyrinth. There, she meets the faun (Doug Jones), who believes her to be Princess Moanna. He gives her three tasks to complete before the full moon to ensure that her "essence is intact". Meanwhile, Vidal brutally kills two farmers suspected of being rebels. After looking in their bag it is clear that they were hunting rabbits as they had said and were not rebels.

Diner Dash is an action strategy game in which the player takes the role of Flo, a stockbroker who quits her job to run her own diner.[2] Gameplay involves seating customers and guiding Flo around the restaurant to serve customers. If enough money is earned after each level, play progresses to the next. As the game progresses Flo updates the dilapidated restaurant she begins with and builds three further restaurants, which provide new settings.

Gameplay centers around catering to customers within a time limit in order to gather as much money as possible. Flo can be moved around the restaurant in order to complete tasks. As customers arrive in the restaurant, the player must drag-and-drop them onto a table,[3] where they sit down and read menus. Then the player must guide Flo to the table to take their order, which must be taken to the service hatch. After the chef has prepared the meal, Flo must deliver the food. When the customers are finished eating they must be taken a check, at which point the customers leave a tip and their dishes on the table, departing the restaurant. The dishes must be cleared by Flo before the next set of customers can use the table. Each successful action earns the player points, performing the same action multiple times in a row earns the player a chain bonus, which is broken once a different action is performed.

Customers have a series of hearts over their heads that indicate their mood. The longer the customer is forced to wait, the more hearts he or she loses. Standing at the podium revives these hearts. In the original game, customers enter with 6 hearts and leave with 1. In 2 & 3, half a heart. Serving drinks or seating a group on the bench also keeps them happier. When customers lose all their hearts, they leave the restaurant, costing the player points. The goal of a level is earn a certain number of points. There are also expert point totals for advanced players to achieve.

The game has two modes: Flo's Career (which follows the story of Flo) and Endless Shift (a survival mode in which the player must last as long as possible in a single level).

In Diner Dash there are a variety of customers. Each type has different degrees of patience, noise tolerance, and tipping habits. They are:

* Young Ladies - Tips averagly and moderately patient.
* Businesswomen - Tips very well, but not as patient
* Seniors - Very patient, slow to order and eat, low tipper.
* Hot Shots - Tips well, is patient in line, but has no patience while waiting at the table.
* College Kids - Tips well, very impatient in line, but lingers at the table.

DINER DASH 1
Ditch your desk job and serve up some grub! Help Flo grow her fledgling diner into a five-star restaurant in this game of skill, speed and savvy.
