Description:

Synopsis: Maria, a woman training to be a nun, is asked to leave the abby after a series of small infractions proves to the reverend mother that the nunnery is not the place for the spirited young frau. Instead, she's given a job as a temporary governess at the home of a widowed Austrian sea captain and his seven children. Maria butts heads with the captain, but the children, at first wily, learn to love her, especially when she brings music into their lives.
